Introduction

Introducing our College

Founded in 1997, the college building is built by help of many bhamashah's. SSDCLB GOVT GIRLS COLLEGE, PIPAR CITY which is an institute devoted to women higher education. It was started with just 37 students and the strength has raised upto 937 students.

The college is a multi-faculty institute with Arts, Commerce and Science (SFS) education at under graduate level. The college is recognized by University Grants Commission New Delhi under the act 2(F) and 12 (B) since 2006. It is presently affiliated to Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur, though administratively it functions under the directions of Commissionerate, College Education, Government of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

The college is situated in the rural area of western Rajasthan and is committed to provide best education to under privileged class of students. We are also of the opinion that if we understand our strength, weaknesses, potential and limitations, than only we can effectively carry out our objectives and commitments. Although all infrastructure facilities are required to stand our self in this competitive education system, we are trying our best to give best output in presently existing facilities.

Vision and Mission of the College

The institutional vision is to ‘educate, enable and empower young women, emphasizing the need to mainstream the marginalized and weaker sections among them to ensure justice and equity in society’. Its mission is to steer the education it offers not only to lead to the pragmatic goal of employability, but also to build a life of the mind and sensitize and orient its students to service of the community, in the quest for a better life for society and the world that we inhabit. The College endeavours to nurture confident and responsible citizens who will uphold the values enshrined in the motto of the College ‘Truth, Love, Knowledge, Service’. To this end the College’s mission statement is set out as definite tasks which define the College’s distinctive characteristics in terms of addressing the needs of society, the students it seeks to serve, the institutions traditions and value orientations, its vision for the future etc. Woven into the fabric of the College’s multi-faceted life are the activities that are aligned to its vision and ramify its mission.
