Bethnal Green is an area in the borough of Tower Hamlets.^[1] It is north east of the City of London.

History

Bethnal Green has a wide history. It was the place where over 150 people lost their lives in the underground. This was the worst civilian casualty number in the whole of World War II.^[2]
