The 1939 Villanova Wildcats football team represented the Villanova University during the 1939 college football season. The head coach was Clipper Smith, coaching his fourth season with the Wildcats. The team played their home games at Villanova Stadium in Villanova, Pennsylvania.[1]
Villanova was not ranked in the final AP poll, but it was ranked at No. 34 in the 1939 Williamson System ratings,[2] and at No. 32 in the Litkenhous Ratings.[3]
